FSM Update: Etsy Shop & Instant Download Art

I am happy to announce that I have finally opened my own Etsy shop. It is such a great source for growing a creative business; I have been wanting to utilize it for a long time. I just didn’t know how I wanted to approach it. Then it came to me! Art in an instant!

I never knew the demand for downloadable art. My friend introduced me to the magic of SVG (scalable vector graphic) files. With the Cricut cut machine becoming so popular, many crafters are looking for art files that they can download and cut out with their machine to then adhere to tshirts, mugs, tumblers, boxes, window decals…the possibilities are endless. Luckily, now that I have my digital drawing tablet, I can easily create SVG’s of my own work and offer them on Etsy! I am so excited to add these to my collection!

Before I knew of SVG files, I already had another idea up my sleeve. I have been wanting to offer coloring pages of my work for a while now and I finally did it! Whenever I create a piece, I already have line art created as the first step of the project so I figured I’ll have an endless supply of coloring pages as long as I keep creating my totem animals. Plus the patterns I use are very popular for meditative coloring which has become very popular with adults these past few years.

I have a few other downloadable art ideas. Did you know downloading and printing your own scrapbook paper is a thing? I had no idea and with the patterns I create with my work already, I figured that was something I could try out as well. I also want to get to the point of offering downloadable prints of my photography. I have thousands of great pics that just sit on my hard drive for no one to enjoy. I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to dust them off and bring them to light. I also like the idea of creating my own downloadable greeting cards with my totems. How perfect is that? My mind is racing with possibilities. As of now though, we will keep working on the SVG’s and the coloring pages.

Click here to check out my shop and let me know what your favorite piece is. What would you like to see more of? Is there any type of downloadable art that you are interested in? Let me know in the comments below and thanks for stopping by today!

Stay sunny, free spirits!
