My name is Meg Phoenix and I am a fine artist and surface designer based in northwest Ohio. My work encompasses my passion for the natural world and the creatures that share it with us. I capture the spirit of the animals I draw by incorporating intricate patterns and bold colors in traditional and digital mediums.

I’ve been creating and studying art for most of my life and I’ve been doing it professionally for over a decade. There is a long line of artistic mothers and daughters in my family so I guess you could say creativity runs through my veins. I have always had the desire to artistically share my view of the earth and the animals on it. I want to ignite within others the same passion and appreciation I have for the natural world. My work is a plea to protect and cherish the animals and the planet.

When I’m not creating art, I love kayaking and any other activities that expose me to nature. I love to explore, search and discover. My other interests include photography, gardening and ancestry.

I’m adventuring through life with my husband, two awesome kids and three crazy kitties.
