Zentangle Compilation

Here’s a little something I whipped up to share my story about the current work I’ve been doing. It is all Zentangle inspired artwork starting with my very first sketch leading to my most current ZIA. Enjoy!

It started with just a tangle….

I decided to practice in color….

I enjoyed creating repeating patterns…

…but I also enjoy drawing animals…

So I combined the two and drew my pets…

The drawings were flowing and natural for me to create…

So I decided to keep doing more animals…

I starting coloring each piece with colored pencils with a black outline….

It started making sense to me…

    The birds are simply stunning!!!! I just love them!! This makes the third blue heron I’ve seen today!!
