#93 – Wonderous Weigela – 6.15.18

This is Weigela. I did not want to edit this photo at all because I wanted to show how naturally vibrant they are when they bloom. The entire shrub is covered in these bright pink flowers. This specific one was about 4 feet in diameter. A giant neon ball of color!

Totem Animal: Beaver

I have completed my latest totem drawing, the beaver. I am very happy with how it turned out. I enjoyed working with the colors as they blended just the way I wanted. I like how the tail came out as well. It’s like I can feel the texture of it just by looking at it….
