Inktober 2025 – Week One – Wildlife

Last year, I focused on Endangered Species, discussing the various endangered wildlife around the globe. I learned and shared all about their biggest threats and ways that we can help preserve and protect them. You can check out the entire project here:

This year I’ve decided to try and keep Inktober fairly simple. I have several projects going on at the moment that I am trying to make progress with and Inktober has been knocked down a few pegs on the priority list. However, I have been participating in Inktober since 2016 so I feel as though I should keep the streak going!

So this year, I’m still doing wildlife but no fancy strings attached. I will still follow along with the official Inktober prompt list so each animal will relate to the prompt of the day. But no extravagant projects or posts. Just sketches of animals!

So without further ado, here is my first week of sketches for 2025.

Day 1- “Mustache” – Emperor Tamarin
Day 2- “Weave” – Orb Weaver
Day 3- “Crown” – Grey Crowned Crane
Day 4- “Murky” – Caiman
Day 5- “Deer” – White-tailed Deer
Day 6- “Pierce” – African Brush-tailed Porcupine
Day 7- “Starfish” – Brittle Star
