Inktober 2021 #14 – Tick

Ticks are pretty gross. I’ve become very familiar with ticks. My entire life I have been outdoors, in the woods, in the fields, in the flower beds. When I was younger, my dad and I would walk through the fields and pastures a lot together which is when he taught me about ticks. I remember one day he found one on his arm when we were working outside. He said there was only one good way to kill a tick. He grabbed a torch from the garage and set the tick on the metal fender of our horse trailer. Then he lit it up! There was a little POP sound and he said, “That’s how you know it’s dead.”

Now you know how to kill a tick. It’s that easy! 😆 Thanks for stopping by! A short and sweet story for this one but check back soon for more inktober sketches!

Check for ticks, free spirits!
